Our consultants have filled positions which include: Radiation Protection Manager (RPM) at both PWR and BWR commercial nuclear power facilities; Manager, Environmental, Health and Safety (EH & S) for decommissioning projects; Manager, Radiological Engineering at DOE facilities; Project Manager; Sr. ALARA Engineer; Radiological Engineer;  Health Physics Supervisor; and Principal Health Physicist at both DOE and commercial nuclear facilities.


Our consultants credentials include: Registered Professional Engineer (PE); Certified Health Physicist (CHP); ANSI-qualified Radiation Protection Manager (RPM); and Registered Radiation Protection Technologist (NRRPT).

Radiological Assessment & Dose Assessment

Includes the following areas:




ˇ          Development, review, evaluation, assessment and implementation of Health Physics and related programs, including Radiological Engineering, Decommissioning, Chemistry, Radioactive Waste Management, Emergency Planning and Training.


ˇ          Development, review, evaluation, assessment and implementation of procedures, programs, controls and training to meet technical requirements, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote continuous improvement in a cost-effective manner for facilities with alpha, beta, gamma and neutron radiation.  Key areas include: internal and external dosimetry; personnel exposure control; instrumentation and calibration; health physics computer tools and solutions (hardware & software); ALARA; radioactive waste management; respiratory protection; personnel and equipment decontamination; radioactive material control and accountability; and training (technical and general).


ˇ          Evaluation, review, field response and support for special occurrences/events, involving: radioactive material control; radiation and dose rate control; personnel exposure control; environmental and effluent releases; emergency response and preparedness and other events.


ˇ          Characterization and analysis of radiological environments, including: airborne concentrations; direct radiation dose rates; and surface contamination.  Prediction, characterization and assessment of effective dose equivalent due to all radiological sources, to minimize personnel exposure.
